What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and provide essential functionality.
Cookies We Use
We use the absolute minimum number of cookies required to operate the service. As a security product, we believe in practicing what we preach: minimal data collection.
Authentication & Session Cookies
We use Clerk for authentication. When you sign in, Clerk sets session cookies to keep you logged in securely. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __session | Clerk authentication session | Session |
| __client_uat | Clerk session freshness check | Session |
Security Cookies
CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protection tokens are used to prevent unauthorized actions on your behalf. These are standard security measures required for safe operation.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies. Plausible collects no personal data and is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant without requiring cookie consent.
This means we can understand how our site is used without tracking you, storing cookies, or collecting personal information. We chose Plausible specifically because we believe a security product should lead by example on privacy.
Advertising & Tracking Cookies
We do not use any advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or social media tracking scripts. Period.
Third-Party Cookies
When you proceed to checkout or manage your subscription, Stripe may set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention. These cookies are only set on payment pages and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the platform.
